Safety Above All Else

Creating a safe learning environment is my top priority. Every child, teacher, and staff member deserves to enter our schools every day feeling entirely secure, both physically and emotionally. I am committed to advancing proactive safety protocols, modernizing access controls, enhancing crisis preparedness, and safeguarding our students' digital privacy. By building strong partnerships with local law enforcement, parents, and community leaders, we can create secure spaces where teachers can focus on teaching and students can focus on learning without fear.

Community & Family Voice

A strong school district is built on genuine partnership between schools, parents, and local taxpayers. Too often, decisions are made behind closed doors before the families affected ever hear about them. I am committed to giving our community and families a true seat at the table through open communication, accessible board meetings, and active advisory channels. Transparency isn't just about posting budgets online—it means actively listening to parents' concerns, respecting their role as the primary stakeholders in their children's lives, and ensuring every voice in District 3 is heard before major policies are set.

Preparing Students for the Future

Education should open doors, no matter which path a student chooses after graduation. Whether a student is heading to a four-year university, entering a trade program, enlisting in the military, or jumping straight into the local workforce, District 3 must equip them with real-world skills, strong academic fundamentals, and practical confidence. I will advocate for expanded career and technical education (CTE) pathways, rigorous academic programs, and modern technology access so every graduate leaves our schools ready to build a successful life right here in Florence County or anywhere their dreams take them.

Fiscal Accountability

Our community trusts us with their hard-earned tax dollars, and we owe it to taxpayers, parents, and students to account for every cent. School board governance requires rigorous financial oversight to ensure funds directly support classroom instruction, competitive teacher pay, and essential student resources rather than administrative bloat. I will fight for plain-language budget transparency, regular public audits, and smart long-term financial planning so our community can clearly see how district investments are directly driving student success.
